Advantage Flea Control Side Effects Discount Pet Meds

Use Advantage Flea Control And Have No More Worries

Advantage Flea control is suitable for use on dogs and cats that are at least two months old. The type of Advantage you get depends on the weight of your pet because the amount of solution you have to use varies depending on the size of the animal. Each package usually contains enough solution for four treatments. The solution is applied to the dog or cat's skin once a month. It kills fleas and eggs within 12 hours and is water resistant after 24 hours.

Discount pet meds are just as safe to use on your pets as the medications you get from the vet. Advantage is one of the products the vets recommend, not just to get rid of fleas, but also to prevent an infestation from occurring. This product is safe to use all year long, but you should start using it at least a month prior to the flea season for your geographical area.

It is easy to apply Advantage to your cat or dog. The simple directions include:

  • Give your pet a bath so it is clean.
  • Make sure it is thoroughly dry.
  • For a dog you part the hair between the shoulder blades and for a cat you part the hair on the back of its neck.
  • Place the tip of the tube close to the skin and squeeze twice to get all of the solution out of the tube.
  • You don't have to rub it in because the natural muscle movement will help the solution to spread all over the body.
  • Be careful not to get any of the solution in the pet's eyes.

After a 24 hour period, you can give your pet a bath or allow it to go swimming because Advantage is water resistant and won't wash off.
